What it is for
Stopwatches measure how long something takes: workouts and intervals, cooking steps, meeting segments, how long a task really costs you, or races between the kids. Laps let you time repeated stretches inside one run and compare them side by side.
How it works
The elapsed time is computed from your device's own clock, so background throttling never loses time. The ring completes one revolution every sixty seconds as a visual second hand. Nothing is uploaded and no sound is needed.
