How to use random team generator
- Paste or type the names, one per line or separated by commas.
- Set how many teams you want.
- Optional: list people who must share a team, and people who must not.
- Press Generate. Generate again reshuffles from scratch. If a rule cannot be met, the page says so instead of ignoring it.
What it is for
Fair teams in one click for gym class, esports lobbies, quiz nights, and project groups. Everyone is shuffled first, then dealt round-robin, so the strongest players cannot cluster on one team on purpose.
How it works
With no rules, the names are shuffled in your browser and dealt one at a time so the teams stay even. Keep-together names are placed as a block, and keep-apart names are refused a shared team. If the rules cannot all be met, nothing is generated and the reason is shown. Nothing is uploaded.
