Weighted categories, explained
Most courses weight categories, not assignments: homework 20%, quizzes 30%, exams 50%. A 95 homework average still loses to a 70 exam average because the exam category dominates. Enter each category as one row with its weight to mirror the syllabus, and the calculator reproduces the exact number your instructor's spreadsheet shows.
