How to convert Excel to PDF

  1. Drop your .xlsx workbook.
  2. Pick the sheet. Choose portrait for a tall sheet, or landscape for a wide one.
  3. Press Convert to PDF and download it.

What comes through

You get a clean table of the data on that sheet, including the results of formulas. Colors, charts, and pictures stay in the spreadsheet. Sheets longer than 1,000 rows include the first 1,000, and the preview says so.

PDF or CSV?

Use the PDF to print or share. For a file another spreadsheet can open, use Excel to CSV.

Fitting wide sheets

Wide spreadsheets are the classic PDF headache: columns shrink to unreadable slivers or spill off the page. This converter paginates the rendered sheet onto Letter pages, slicing tall tables across pages while keeping every column legible. For print-ready output, keep display formatting simple before converting - merged cells, frozen panes, and print titles from Excel do not transfer, but values, headers, and basic table structure do.
