How to combine PDFs
- Drop files onto the page, or click Upload files and choose them.
- Drag a file by its handle to put the pages in the order you want.
- Click Combine PDFs, then download the single PDF.
What you can merge
Combine PDF joins PDFs, photos, and Word documents into one file. JPG, PNG, SVG, and HEIC images each become their own page. A DOCX is turned into a page image and added in the same way. Use it to staple a signed form to a scan, collect homework into one hand-in, or turn a set of phone photos into a single document.
The list on the page is the page order of the finished file. Move a file up to put it earlier. Remove one if it does not belong. Nothing is resized or recompressed beyond what is needed to place an image or a document onto a PDF page.
How it works
The merge runs entirely in your browser with pdf-lib: PDFs are concatenated page by page in the order shown, and each JPG, PNG, SVG, or HEIC image is placed on its own A4-proportioned page. A DOCX is first rendered to page images locally (via Mammoth + html2canvas) and then embedded the same way. Nothing is uploaded to boosted.cafe - when the download finishes, closing the tab discards the working copies. If a scan came out sideways, Rotate PDF can turn the pages before you merge. If you need the pages as pictures instead, use the Image Converter.
Worked example
Say you have contract.pdf (3 pages), a phone photo signature.jpg, and appendix.pdf (2 pages). Drop all three, then drag signature.jpg between the two PDFs. Click Combine PDFs: the result is a 6-page file - pages 1–3 from the contract, page 4 the photo scaled to fit, pages 5–6 the appendix. Reorder and re-export any time; the originals are never altered.
Limitations
Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first. Fillable form fields and digital signatures flatten to static pages on merge - the merged file keeps what you see, not live form behavior. Very large photo sets (hundreds of megabytes) are limited by your device's memory; for those, merge in smaller batches. To shrink the result afterward, use Compress PDF; to pull pages back out, use Split PDF. For the full end-to-end workflow see the guide How to combine PDFs, photos, and documents privately.
